Amouage Sequence is part of the Essences Collection — 30% concentration, released in 2026 — and it represents something rare: an Amouage that doesn't lead with incense. Perfumer Julien Rasquinet built a structured, layered composition that moves from bright fruit to opulent florals to dark, smoky leather and oud.
The opening is lychee and raspberry with a thread of saffron — vivid, tart, and immediately intriguing. Rose and osmanthus bloom in the heart alongside tonka bean's creamy depth. Then the base unfolds: leather and oud arrive, grounded by warm amberwood. The whole arc feels intentional, like a well-played sequence of moves.
