Oud Paradisio is what happens when Jordi Fernandez builds a fruity oud for BDK Parfums' tenth anniversary Collection Studio. Concentrated at 44%, it sets a frosted pineapple and saffron opening against a trio of roses and a dark, slightly bitter cocoa-oud base, radiant and shadowy at the same time.
It opens bright and unexpected, bergamot and pineapple ice cream cut with incense smoke and saffron. Then a velvety heart of Bulgarian and Turkish rose blooms over the fruit, before cocoa absolute and Thai oud pull everything into a deep, animalic, leather-adjacent finish. Expect 9 to 12 hours with strong projection, a genuine nocturnal statement.
