Aventus is what happens when Olivier and Erwin Creed build a scent around ambition itself. Launched in 2010 and inspired by the life of Napoleon, it pairs a smoky birch accord with Creed's signature pineapple, then anchors the whole thing in dry oakmoss and ambergris. Every batch is hand mixed, macerated, and matured at Creed's facility in Ury, which is why collectors trade batch codes the way wine people trade vintages.
Fruit lands first, bright pineapple and blackcurrant over bergamot and crisp apple. Then the smoke moves in, birch and patchouli dragging the sweetness somewhere drier and more serious. Then oakmoss, musk, and ambergris settle in for the rest of the day. Eight to ten hours on skin, with the loudest trail in the opening two.
