What happens when Creed builds a fragrance around Charles Creed, the fifth-generation family member who left Paris to dress London? Iris Debonair is the 2026 follow-up to Wild Vetiver, and it takes iris, a note the market has filed under feminine for decades, and cuts it with wormwood and English lavender until it reads like a grey flannel suit.
It opens bright and bitter, bergamot against wormwood with pink pepper and cardamom sharpening the edges. Then Kentish lavender comes through clean and luminous, softened by fig pulp and violet leaf. Then iris pallida settles in, buttery and powdery, held up by amberwood and ambrette for eight to ten hours of quiet, expensive-smelling sillage.
