Stephane Humbert Lucas Sand Dance from the 777 collection is the perfumer leaning into his Middle Eastern muse, a saffron and rose oud structure warmed by leather, immortelle, and amber. It smells expensive, intentional, and unmistakably his.
Saffron and cardamom open it up with that distinctive SHL spice signature. Damask rose and oud take over through the heart, with leather and immortelle giving it depth and a faint smoky honey quality. Then amber, sandalwood, and tonka extend the drydown for ten-plus hours, with strong but refined sillage.
