Swiss Arabian Essence of Casablanca is what happens when a 50-year-old UAE perfumer decides to build a fruity gourmand that punches well above its price. Juicy apples and grapes up top, intense patchouli and powdery iris in the middle, and a warm vanilla-musk-amber-balsam base that lasts all day.
Apple and grapes hit first — ripe, juicy, almost like cider. Then patchouli and orris build a deep earthy-powdery middle that grounds the fruit. Then vanilla, musk, amber, and sweet balsams close out a comforting, slightly resinous finish. Wears like a much more expensive fragrance.
A full 100ml bottle runs $95. The performance, sillage, and quality at this price point is borderline ridiculous. Try a 5ml first.
