The concept was simple and irresistible: on one side, dried tobacco leaves with their powdery, resinous swirls. On the other, the most photorealistic honey in luxury perfumery — raw, golden, intoxicating. The result, from Guerlain's legendary L'Art and La Matiere collection, is one of those fragrances that polarizes for exactly the right reasons.

Honey, cloves, and anise open with an immediate richness that smells like a cigar room drenched in amber warmth. Tobacco, vanilla, tonka, and sesame develop in the heart — dark, sophisticated, and deeply sensual.
